About

Collaboration is at its finest
when the end result is greater than
the sum of its parts.

Editor, writer, educator.

Enriched by breadth of experience.

My name is Don Cicchelli, and I am the founder of POV Editorial Services. I hold a Certificate in Copyediting from the University of California, San Diego, and have completed the Editorial Freelancers Association’s program in Developmental Editing. Additionally, I hold a Master of Theological Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

I enjoy creative writing, and I am readying my poems for submission to a publisher.

Breadth of experience is an invaluable asset for an editor. My uncommon breadth of life experience enriches my editorial approach. I have served as a Peace Corps volunteer, advocated at the United Nations as an NGO representative, lived the One-L experience at a top-tier law school, and served newly arrived migrants in Boston; as an educator, I have taught courses in English composition at home and abroad, including as a member of the faculty of one of Korea's most prestigious academic institutions.

I am a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association, the National Association of Independent Writers and Editors, and ACES: The Society for Editing.
